Actress Kelly Preston stars alongside Kurt Russell and Michael Angarano in Disney’s Sky High — a family comedy/adventure set in a world where superheros are commonly known and accepted, with a high school in the sky for superhero children. Sky High was the highest grossing opening movie on release week.

Singer/songwriter Kate Ceberano was featured on Australian ABC’s Talking Heads in a half-hour program on Kate and her life to date.
Kate was also last month’s cover girl for Melbourne Magazine, with an article tag line “Rythm of Life,” detailing her music career and motherhood.

Bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen has recently been in the studio with Nelly Furtado, The Dixie Chicks, and UK artist Aqualung. He also contributed to the scoring of the movie Dukes of Hazzard. His band Ima Robot is currently at work on their next album, which will come out on Virgin Records early next year.

Saint Hill-based band The Jive Aces released a new single, “White Cliffs of Dover,” in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II. The song entered the UK charts and reached number 27 on the UK Independent Music Chart. Proceeds from the sales go to the Royal British Legion, one of the most prestigious British charities, whose Patron is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Actress Jill Kirsh just co-starred in an episode of UPN’s new series Everyone Hates Chris, narrated by comedian Chris Rock and inspired by his childhood experiences growing up as a teenager in Brooklyn, New York in the early 1980s.
